Why choose an OKP-7 style optic?

The original OKP-7 design is known for its open collimator / reflex sight layout and wide, uncluttered sight picture. For airsoft, that shape matters because it instantly changes the look of an AK build: it feels more Eastern Bloc, more field-used and less like a standard M4 optic transplanted onto an AK.

It is especially effective on AKM, AK-74, AK-105, AK-12-inspired, RPK-style and SVD / Dragunov-inspired replicas, as well as Tarkov-style and Russian kit builds.

Picatinny vs AK Side Mount

Choose Picatinny if your replica already has a 20mm rail, railed dust cover, handguard top rail or adapter. This is the simplest version for mixed platforms and modern custom builds.

Choose AK Side Mount if your replica has a compatible AK / SVD-style side rail and you want the more traditional Russian optic silhouette. This version usually looks more natural on classic AK builds.

Lens protection matters
